The good times keep rolling in the deep for Adele, with the announcement that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
The 24 year old Grammy-winner and radio favourite broke the big baby news on her website in a post titled, ‘I’ve got some news’.
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” she wrote. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me. Obviously we’re over the moon and very excited, but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”
The news that the stalk is circling Adele’s neighborhood certainly is welcome news. Her Grammy-stealing album ‘21’ is proof in the Yorkshire pudding that Adele has had her fair share of broken hearts. But with a good man on her arm, that even lead to a few engagement rumors earlier this year, we certainly hope she’ll be singing a different tune in albums to come.
But with baby on the way, we expect we’ll be hearing a spot of white noise from Adele over the coming nine months.
